We provide unit rates for defined work packages, or hourly rates for any support equipment you need.
Certain projects have excavation and removals that require finesse. This work can be slow and excluded by other contractors. Rysen has been involved in MSE wall excavation and backfill, structural (pile caps, piers, approach slabs, abutments) excavation and backfill, laydown and detour construction.
Rysen is a specialist at embankment and head slope construction. We have finished over 75 bridge approaches in the past 10 years. Rysen’s role on these varied between contracts, however, the final detailed grading was done by Rysen.
Removals are required as part of any project. Rysen has work experience in urban settings on LRT projects like no other contractor in Edmonton. Rysen provided the tandem fleet and supplemental equipment for the Valley Line LRT from downtown to Millwood’s Town Center.
Rysen also provides hard surface removal in some busy areas and recently completed the concrete, asphalt and gravel removals on the North side of West Edmonton Mall on 90 Ave. Rysen also completed the 112 Ave Rehab between 68 St and 50 St, which is a major arterial roadway with detailed asphalt, concrete and gravel removal.
Rysen has experience in large and small GBC projects. We have several graders, steel and pneumatic compaction equipment, water trucks and loaders/skid steers. We have completed over 100,000 tonnes of gravel base course placement in the last 3 years.
Rysen is experienced in subdrain installation and has special gear specifically designed to dig narrow and deep trenches. Critical drainage systems are often the most precise and unforgiving work on a civil project — Rysen’s specialized equipment handles them efficiently without disrupting adjacent work zones.
